St. Pius X Affordability and Financial Aid for 2026-2027
St. Pius X strives to maintain affordable tuition levels for families. St. Pius X Catholic School accepts the Indiana State Choice Scholarships for kindergarten - 8th grade students which will be available to all (Universal Vouchers) for the 2026-2027 school year.
Beginning with the school year 2026-2027 all students will qualify for Universal Vouchers (vouchers for all). The amount of your voucher is determined by your address and the school district that you reside in. We are awaiting final details to the new regulations for 2026-2027 school year.
We also offer financial aid based on a family's financial need and available funds for active parishioners who might qualify for SGO's for tuition and fees that are over the voucher amounts. We are committed to assisting students who desire a Catholic education.
What is the Choice Scholarship Program?
Indiana's Choice Scholarship Program, commonly referred to as the voucher program, (authorized under IC 20-51-1 and IC 20-51-4) provides scholarships to ALL (beginning in 2026-2027 all students will be eligible) Indiana students to offset tuition and fees at participating schools. Participating schools and interested parents/guardians work together to enroll students. The scholarship could cover some or all of your student's tuition and fees.

We are a Catholic School that admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, and other school-administered programs.The Indiana state legislature simplified and expanded the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program. If your student meets the following three requirements, they are eligible for a Choice Scholarship:
1. The student is an Indiana resident.
2. The student is at lest 5 years old as of October 1st.
3. The student is a member of a household that meets the annual income eligibility criteria listed in the chart below.The amount you will receive depends on your local public school district. Financial Aid and Responsibility
It is a goal of the School and Parish to provide financial support to parish and school families who need assistance if the vouchers don't cover all their tuition and fees. Especially those who have special circumstances arise and provide the need for assistance.
However, all School families must assume responsibility for paying the agreed-upon tuition charges in full and on time as prescribed by the School. Families of students who are not of parishioners of
St. Pius X, will be expected to assume their portion of the financial responsibility for the education provided through our non-parishioner tuition rate, since they do not participate in the general financial support of the parish given to school from the contributions, and donations of parishioners.
